Her international credits include studies and performances at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Liverpool, England;the Académie Internationale d’Eté de Nice, France; the Daniel Ferro Vocal Program in Chianti, Italy; the International Vocal Arts Institute in Tel Aviv, Israel where she was selected to sing for the Japanese Ambassador.
Asuka made appearances as a soloist at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Town Hall, and MOMA museum in New York City.
As a versatile singer, Ms. Uchida was presented as an aspiring opera singer on the website of the internationally acclaimed cosmetic company Maybelline New York. Her voice was featured in short films for the Japanese technology company NEC.
Ms. Uchida is an active recitalist and also performs Oratorio works. Asuka sang as a soprano soloist from Vesperae solennes de confession by Mozart with Blessed Sacrament Choir in New York. She gave a solo recital that was sponsored by Belle Sylvester Recital Series in Long Island, NY.
Asuka was invited to perform a concert by the Russian Cultural Center in Kiev 2019 and gave a recital at St. Katherine Church in Kiev, Ukraine. Ms.Uchida was scheduled to perform at Lviv Philharmonic, Ukraine 2020 but due to COVID, it is canceled. She was also invited by Festival dell’arte in Wojanow, Poland 2019, and gave a solo recital. Asuka toured Japan and gave recitals as a part of the Drama in the City recital series 2019.
Ms. Uchida was also a finalist at the Opera Idol Competition at Lincoln Center in New York City, The Hariclea Darclée Voice Competition in Romania, and the Mario Lanza and Elaine Malbin Vocal Competition in New York City. Ms. Uchida was selected as a vocal scholarship recipient at the Savannah music festival.
Her upcoming engagements in 2020-2021 include joining the roaster of Vida Art Management Agency in Switzerland, performing opera concert series with Opera After Hours in New York City. Ms. Uchida will also perform with Moon River Opera in Georgia, Savannah, and appear as a featured artist at Ziksa Artist Organization.
