Born in Tel-Aviv, Israel – Conductor David Miller began his musical studies at the age of 5 when he started to play the cello. After finishing his studies at the Thelma-Yellin-school of arts David Miller got accepted to the Buchmann-Mehta school of music- university of Tel-Aviv, where he studied conducting with Maestro-Vag papain and cello with Professor Hillel Zori.

After finishing his studies at the Tel-Aviv-university in 2012 David Miller studied conducting with Maestro Lior Shambadal (GMD of the-Berliner-Symphoniker) and with Maestro Dan Ettinger in Germany and in Israel while playing cello in the Ashdod Symphony orchestra and several other orchestras.

David Miller conducts regularly the Ashdod symphony orchestra.

In 2013 David was an Assistant Conductor at the 200 years Richard Wagner Festival in Augsburg-Bavaria. He was also an Assistant Conductor to Maestro Francesco Cilluffo for-Madame Butterfly at the Israeli opera house in 2016.

In 2017 he was Assistant Conductor to Maestro Ishai Shteckler for Madama Butterfly at the Israeli opera house and in 2018 he was Assistant Conductor to Maestro Nikolas Nägele at the Tenerife opera house in production of “L’Italiana in algeri”.

In February 2020 he conducted his debut with the national opera house of Bucharest (ONB) Romania, as guest conductor with a production of “Madama Butterfly”.

David Miller is enrolled in the Ashdod symphony orchestra as a cellist and guest conductor and at the Israeli opera house as Assistant Conductor.
