LUSINE ARAKELYAN, Soprano Born in 1984 (Gyumri, Armenia).

1992-1999 received her first piano and vocal lessons at the “Octet” music school in Gyumri.

At the age of 16, she gave her the first Recital in Yerevan. Her brilliant vocal technique and rich voice have brought her great recognition since childhood.

2001-2008 she studied at the vocal department of Yerevan State Conservatory (professor – Karine Mkrtchyan).

2015-2017 she has taken part in Masterclasses with world-famous sopranos Monserrat Caballee, Cheryl Studer, and Stefania Bonfadelli.

Later she took lessons in Berlin Art Institute (2017) and Bavarian Opera academy (2019).

Lusine Arakelyan was honored at several international Festival-competitions including:

RENAISSANCE international festival-competition in Gyumri (1 st Prize)

KOMITAS International Singing Competition in Berlin (2 nd Prize)

Golden Voice International Singing Competition in Yerevan (2 nd Prize)

As a guest soloist she has been invited by different International Festivals:

9th International Festival after G. G. Gorczycki with “Zenska Orkiestra Salonowa” (Poland)

1 st festival “Les Musicales de Baabdath” solo Concert-Recital in St. Anthony of Pauda Church (Baabdath, Lebanon)

1 st International Vocal Festival after Antonini Miklaszewicz-Campi with Philharmonic orchestra of Lublin (Poland)

1 st Festival-Contest “Old town pictures” (Telavi, Georgia)

As a concert singer she has toured both in Armenia and abroad: USA, Canada, Wien, Berlin, Rome, Firenze, San Giovanni Valdarno, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Baabdath, Warsaw, Moscow, S.Peterburg, Katowice, Rodomsko, Lublin, Gdynia, Charna, Zinn.

Her repertoire is very large. With her Lirico-dramatic soprano, she performs Barocco classical composers’ works, Romantic composers’ operas, and latter-day composers’ music.

L. Arakelyan is also well known as a vocal coach.

Since 2013 she teaches classical singing and leads the vocal department at Aleksey Hekimyan music school in Yerevan. Her pupils are laureates in various International competitions, they perform in Italy, France, the USA, Germany, Austria, Russia, and so on.

She has led masterclasses in different music schools in Yerevan and other cities of Armenia.

In addition, she has been invited as a juror for different singing competitions in Armenia such as “Global art fest”, “Nairian”, “Golden Harp” etc.
