Marek Juran was born on April 25th, 1994 in Bratislava, Slovakia and he plays a violin from the age of 6 years.
After elementary school and the 1st stage of Gymnasium, he studied at Conservatory in Bratislava in the class of prof. František Torok (2009 – 2013) where he finished with A levels.
Since 2013 studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, in the class of professor Stefan Kamilarov.
He took part on many master classes, e.g. with Jindøich Pazdera, František Novotný (Czech Republic), Vesselin Paraschkevov, Giacomo Tessini, Daniel Rowland, Stefan Kamilarov, Vadim Gluzman and others.
He took part in many violin competitions as a child and also later on.
