Tanja Soininen, a light dramatic soprano with both a master of degrees from the Academy of Music at Örebro University, one-year studies in Operainterpretation at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg and recently finished a Master in Music Drama at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg (2018-2020). The main project during the Master’s Programme in Music Drama was the self-written/self-composed music drama/chamber opera “The Green Dress” (“Den gröna klänningen”) sung in Swedish.
The setting is 4 singers and one pianist, and the drama takes place in one room where different emotions and conflicts appear around alcohol abuse.
Masterclass studies for several well known operasingers, such as Karl-Magnus Fredriksson, Britt-Marie Aruhn, Olle Persson, Ingrid Tobiasson, Barbara Bonney, Gitta-Maria Sjöberg and her husband Matti Borg, Camilla Nylund (FI/DE) and Karita Mattila (FI/USA).
The recent years received for example the Bayreuth Scholarship in 2016, accomplished a concert tour in Milan, Italy, with Orchestra IPomeriggi Musicali de Milano, 2016, and singing La Contessa in “Le Nozze di Figaro” at the Berlin Opera Academy in 2017. Amongst these several opera projects at smaller theatre stages and a well-booked concert soloist with the varying repertoire.
